Starfish Dash Run/Walk
Chromosome 18's Starfish Dash Run / Walk is an official Fiesta event! Our goal is to bring health-minded people to run/walk to raise awareness and funds for Chromosome 18's mission of helping people. We want to bring resources to families and people with chromosome 18 abnormalities, and with your help, we can do just that!
If you would like to participate as a family, be sure to pick the team option during your registration! Pick a fun name for your team and encourage your friends and family to join during their registration.
Support Chromosome 18 by purchasing a Fiesta Medal or a Chromosome 18 Sticker (domestic U.S. families only) during your registration. These purchases will go toward your fundraising page!
VIRTUAL Starfish Dash
Not in San Antonio? You can still participate in our annual Starfish Dash! After last year we decided to keep our Virtual Starfish Dash and engage our GLOBAL community. You can run/walk wherever you are; join us from a treadmill, your favorite running trail, a beach, or running around your neighborhood! Last year, we had over 6 countries partaking in this event, and we are excited to keep growing and raising awareness internationally. We are so excited to keep this option open, please make sure to send us pictures of you on your race day! Everyone is invited and teams are encouraged to participate. Registration is required and there is NO FEE to participate, however as this is one of Chromosome 18 Registry & Research Society's biggest fundraiser of the year, fundraising efforts are highly encouraged and appreciated. All funds raised will go toward the goal of making chromosome 18 the first treatable chromosome abnormality.
